Mental Health, The WiseMind Way
At The Royce, the mental health and wellbeing of our staff and residents is always a top priority. That is why we are proud to have partnered with leading allied health care provider, Generation Care, to bring the WiseMind program to The Royce Manor.
Introduced by the Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network in 2019, the WiseMind program offers psychological therapy services for people living in residential Aged Care facilities. Providing evidence based, person-centred short term support, WiseMind focuses on residents with mild to moderate symptoms of common mental illness. It also aims to support those who are experiencing early symptoms and are assessed as ‘at risk’ of developing a diagnosable mental illness within a 12 month period.
