Café Royce – Now Owned & Run by the Penrith Panthers
The community recently farewelled Ross Dobson, the chef and operator of the well-known Café Royce. After six years of building the café into one of Penrith’s favourite destinations, Ross has bid us farewell to pursue new interests. We at The Royce are fortunate that the Penrith Panthers have now taken over Café Royce, bringing a refreshed menu and extended opening hours including Saturday and Sunday. The transition aims to enhance the café’s service and deepen its connection with the local community, ensuring a high-quality experience for all patrons.
While situated within The Royce, Café Royce is not exclusively for residents and their families. It is a welcoming space open to the public, providing a perfect spot for meetings, social gatherings, or a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee. The venue also features a private room, which is available for booking to host small group events or professional meetings.
In an exciting new development for members, the café will now be integrated into the Panthers Rewards program. Panthers members can now earn and redeem their loyalty points on purchases at Café Royce. Members will also benefit from special pricing and exclusive offers, solidifying the café’s role as a new hub within the Panthers community.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to bring our hospitality expertise to The Royce community,” said Jason Stone, Panthers Penrith General Manager. “We are excited to welcome residents, members, and the wider public to experience the high-quality food and service that defines the Panthers brand, now available seven days a week at Café Royce.”
