Marking the first opportunity to get together since March, our recent new resident morning tea was an extra special occasion.
At The Royce, we traditionally welcome our new residents at a morning tea held every month. This relaxed orientation is a great opportunity to meet our newest community members and mingle over a delicious offering at Café Royce.
This year, we welcomed 50 new residents into The Royce community—with all making the move during the Sydney lockdown period. Taking a detour from the standard introduction route, new residents were recognised in our fortnightly updates to residents. We were also thrilled to see our new residents get involved in the Virtual Village activities during lockdown.
Ensuring our newest residents are welcomed and feel at home is a top priority. Thank you to our fantastic team for managing a seamless transition for new residents, who have all expressed how positive their experience has been, despite challenging circumstances.
With the end of lockdown came the prospect of Zoom-free get togethers. It was time to officially welcome our new residents—all 50 of them—in person. Guests were officially welcomed by Tulich Founder & Managing Director, Maurice Tulich and Tulich Director, Bianca Tulich, followed by The Royce Resident Social Committee President, Ross Creighton. With formalities complete, there were smiles all-round and catching up with new friends over a BBQ and scrumptious welcome cake.
Thank you to all who attended and our team at The Royce on the return of this wonderful event.
