Combining comfort dressing with a fantastic cause, National Pyjama Day (22 July) was the perfect reason to celebrate at The Royce.
Wearing their favourite pyjama ensembles, residents and staff showcased their unique sleepwear style at a daytime soiree adorned in a variety of comfy cotton basics, silk robes and furry animal hoodies.
All eyes soon turned to the catwalk and the start of a pyjama fashion parade starring The Royce’s very own models-in-residence. Accompanied by hilarious commentary from our Resident Care bear MC, residents remained poised as they worked the runway with unflinching confidence and flair.
Congratulations to residents Sue & Ron who were named Best Dressed on the day and thank you to everyone involved. The event raised more than $1,000 for The Pyjama Foundation bringing awareness to children in foster care.
