In the spirit of breast cancer awareness, residents at The Royce gathered recently for ‘Pink Up Penrith’—a fabulous initiative of the Penrith CBD Corp for all local businesses to ‘Think Pink’ while raising vital funds for the McGrath Foundation.
In a very pink morning tea hosted by The Royce at Café Royce, attendees included The Royce’s residents, their family and friends, and the local community, each expressing their pink-perfect style in a kaleidoscope of hues from electric hot pink to soft pastels.
Amongst the chatter and buzz, the Café Royce team sold a range of delectable pink treats (including Ross’ famed Coconut Ice as seen in his popular cookbook).
Donating $1 from every sale to the McGrath Foundation, the funds raised were later matched by The Royce Management. There were also gold coin donations collected on the day. In total, $500 was donated to the McGrath Foundation—a sensational result!
